The Edustream Parent Portal gives parents and guardians a dedicated, secure space to stay connected with their child’s education. Available on the Core plan and above, the portal brings together academic results, fee invoices, school announcements, transport details, and more — all in one place. You can access it from any modern web browser or install it as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on your phone for a near-native mobile experience.

Logging In

Your login credentials are created by the school’s administrator at the point of your child’s enrollment. If you have not received your credentials, contact your school’s admin office.
1

Go to the Parent Portal

Navigate to your school’s Edustream portal URL. This is usually shared by the school in their welcome communication. The login page displays the school’s name and logo.
2

Enter your credentials

Type the email address and password provided by the school, then click Sign In.
3

Complete first-time setup (if prompted)

On your first login you may be prompted to change your password and confirm your contact details. Complete these steps to secure your account.
4

Select your ward (if you have more than one child)

If multiple students are linked to your guardian account, you will see a Select Student screen after login. Choose the child whose information you want to view. You can switch between students at any time from the profile menu.
Forgotten your password? Click Forgot Password on the login page. A reset link will be sent to your registered email address. If you do not receive it within a few minutes, check your spam folder or ask your school’s admin to verify the email address on file.

Viewing Report Cards and Academic Results

The Portal gives you real-time access to your child’s academic performance as scores are entered by teachers. You do not need to wait for a printed report card.
1

Open the Academics section

From the portal home, click Academics in the left navigation menu.
2

Select the term and session

Use the Session and Term dropdowns to choose the academic period you want to review. Results for all available terms are stored permanently.
3

View subject scores and positions

The results table lists each subject, your child’s score, the class average, and their position in class. Summary statistics — total score, overall average, and position — appear at the top.
4

Download the report card

Click Download PDF to save or print the official formatted report card. The PDF includes the school’s branding, your child’s photo (if uploaded), and the class teacher’s remarks.
Report card scores are only visible once your school has published results for that term. If you see blank scores, the school has not yet entered or published grades for that period — contact the school office for an update.

Paying Fees Online

Parents on schools running the Operations+ plan can view and pay tuition invoices directly from the portal, removing the need for cash or manual bank transfers.
1

Open the Finance section

Click Finance in the left navigation. You will see a summary of your child’s outstanding balance, recent payments, and all invoices.
2

Select an invoice

Click on any unpaid invoice to open the detail view. The invoice shows the fee breakdown, due date, and the amount outstanding.
3

Click Pay Now

Click the Pay Now button to proceed to the payment screen. Choose your preferred payment method:
  • Card (Visa or Mastercard)
  • Bank Transfer via Flutterwave or Paystack
4

Complete the transaction

Follow the on-screen prompts from the payment gateway to authorise and complete your payment. Card and Paystack/Flutterwave payments typically reflect within a few minutes. Bank transfers may take longer depending on your bank.
5

Download your receipt

Once payment is confirmed, a digital receipt is generated automatically. Click Download Receipt or find it any time under Finance → Receipts.
Do not close the browser tab while a payment is processing. If you close early and are unsure whether the payment went through, check Finance → Transaction History before attempting to pay again to avoid a duplicate charge.

Topping Up Your Child’s Student Wallet

The student digital wallet (available on Operations+) lets your child make cashless purchases within school — in the cafeteria, library, or school shop.
1

Open the Wallet section

Click Wallet in the left navigation. The current wallet balance and recent transactions are displayed.
2

Click Top Up

Click the Top Up button and enter the amount you want to add to the wallet.
3

Complete payment

Choose your payment method (card or bank transfer) and complete the transaction through the payment gateway. Allow 5–10 minutes for the balance to reflect after a successful payment.
4

Confirm the new balance

Refresh the Wallet page after the waiting period to confirm the updated balance. Every top-up appears in the wallet transaction history with a timestamp.
You can view a full transaction history of every wallet debit (in-school purchase) and credit (top-up) from the Wallet screen. This gives you a clear picture of how your child is spending their wallet balance.

Viewing School Broadcasts and Announcements

The school communicates important news, event reminders, and notices directly through the portal.
1

Open the Announcements section

Click Announcements in the left navigation. All broadcasts sent to you or to your child’s class are listed in chronological order.
2

Read a message

Click any message to open it in full. Important Notices are highlighted in the list so you can spot high-priority communications quickly.
3

Enable push notifications (recommended)

To receive instant alerts when the school sends a new broadcast, click Enable Notifications when your browser prompts you. You will then receive a push notification the moment a new broadcast is published — even when the portal tab is in the background.

Accessing the Portal on Mobile

The Parent Portal is a Progressive Web App (PWA), which means you can install it on your phone’s home screen and use it like a native app — no app store download required.
1

Open the portal in Chrome

Navigate to the portal URL in Google Chrome on your Android device.
2

Tap Add to Home Screen

Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner and select Add to Home screen. Confirm by tapping Add.
3

Launch from your home screen

The Edustream portal icon now appears on your home screen. Tap it to open the portal in full-screen mode, just like a native app.
Once installed as a PWA, the portal supports app icon badging — a small number badge will appear on the portal icon when you have unread notifications or new broadcasts waiting.

Other Information Available in the Portal

Depending on your school’s Edustream plan, you may also have access to:

Transport Routes

View the transport route assigned to your child, including pick-up and drop-off points. Available on Operations+ plans.

Attendance Notifications

Receive real-time alerts when your child is marked absent or late. Notifications are sent to your registered phone number and email. Available on Operations+ plans.

Digital Receipts

Every fee payment — whether made online or recorded by the school — generates a digital receipt accessible from the Finance section.

Academic History

All past terms’ report cards remain accessible indefinitely, giving you a complete academic history for your child across every session.
