Pricing at a Glance

All three plans are billed per active student per term (three terms per academic year in most Nigerian school calendars). “Active” means any student whose enrolment status is set to Enrolled at the start of a term — withdrawn or graduated students do not count toward your billing.

Best fit: EduStream CoreIf you run a nursery, primary, or small secondary school with fewer than 300 students and a lean administrative team, EduStream Core gives you everything needed to eliminate paper-based workflows. You can digitise your admissions register, issue professional report cards at the end of every term, collect tuition fees with full invoice tracking, and push announcements to parents — all from a single dashboard.
Start with Core and benchmark your first full term on the platform before deciding whether the Operations add-ons are worth the step-up. Many Core schools find the registrar and report card tools alone save several staff-hours per week.

Free Trial

You can experience Edustream before committing a single naira. Both the Core and Operations plans include a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. Your trial environment is a full-featured sandbox — add real students, generate actual report cards, and process test payments so you can assess the platform with genuine school data.
Enterprise plan trials are available on request. Contact the sales team to arrange a guided Enterprise trial that includes white-label configuration and payroll setup assistance.
When your 14-day trial ends, your data is preserved. You simply select a plan and enter your billing details to continue. If you decide not to subscribe, your data is retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, giving you time to export any records you need.

Upgrading or Downgrading Your Plan

Edustream gives you full control over your subscription. You can switch plans at any time from Settings → Subscription in your admin dashboard.

Open Subscription Settings

Navigate to Settings → Billing & Subscription in your Edustream admin dashboard. Your current plan, billing cycle, and next renewal date are displayed at the top of the page.

Select Your New Plan

Click Change Plan and choose the tier you want to move to. A side-by-side summary highlights the features you will gain (on upgrade) or lose access to (on downgrade).

Review the Prorated Adjustment

Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated — you are only charged for the remainder of the current term at the new rate. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing term so you continue to benefit from your current plan until it naturally expires.

Confirm the Change

Click Confirm Plan Change. You will receive an email confirmation and an updated invoice reflecting the adjustment. Any features associated with a downgraded plan are archived (not deleted) so that data remains accessible if you upgrade again later.
Downgrading from Operations or Enterprise to a lower tier will disable the features exclusive to that tier (e.g., the hostel module, payroll engine, or POS). Student and financial records created with those features remain in your account in read-only mode, but you will need to re-upgrade to edit or export them through the live interface.

Multi-Campus & Custom Pricing

Schools operating more than one campus under a single proprietorship can consolidate all campuses under a single Edustream account. Student counts are aggregated across campuses for billing purposes, and volume discounts apply automatically at the following thresholds:

For school groups with more than 2,500 students, proprietary curriculum requirements, bespoke integrations, or data-residency needs, Edustream offers fully negotiated enterprise contracts. Reach out to the sales team to discuss a tailored arrangement.
Even if your campuses are on different plans today — for example, your primary campus on Operations and a newer secondary campus on Core — they can still be grouped under a single billing account to unlock the volume discount.
